A Podcasting “Wow”

I have got to get into Podcasting.

Trafcom News has a post about a consulting organization successfully using Podcasting to drive clients to their research materials.

Here’s the money quote:

“Results were amazing. Paul Dunay of BearingPoint had hoped that 10% of podcast listeners would respond to the white paper download offer. Instead, 30% did.”

Imagine tripling your marketing response rate by recording a short audio program.  I know that there’s work involved – but we’re talking TRIPPLE the expected response.

To me that’s a “wow”.

As long as you're talking about podcasting, thought it would be a good idea to tell people to go over to Apple and check out the cool new iPod nano. http://www.apple.com/ipodnano/
